A Proud Moment for Rotary: Tony Daskus Inspires at Berks Technical Institute Commencement

When Berks Technical Institute began the search for a commencement speaker for their 2024 graduation, they weren’t just looking for someone successful—they were looking for someone who worked hard to get where they are, stayed humble, and gave back to others. They found exactly that in Tony Daskus, owner of GoodFellas Granite LLC and proud member of the Rotary Club of Spring Township.

Tony brings more than 30 years of experience in the granite industry. In 2015, he founded GoodFellas Granite, building it into a thriving business with countless successful residential and commercial installations. But Tony’s greatest strength isn’t just in stone—it’s in character. He has never forgotten where he came from and remains grounded in gratitude.

In his keynote address, Tony shared this message with the BTI graduates:
“Stay humble. Remember how you got there. And always give back. Pave the way for the people coming up behind you.”

Tony reminded graduates that while they may be celebrating a milestone today, the path ahead will require hard work, integrity, and generosity. His own journey is a testament to what’s possible when you put those values first.
